Sodatide Capsules Ingredients: 5 Checks to See If They Fit Your Diet
Sodatide capsules ingredients are listed in two groups: three actives (chicory root inulin, potato resistant starch and a three-strain probiotic blend) and four other ingredients, including a vegetarian capsule shell. The label makes no gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan claim, so five checks help you decide whether the capsule fits your diet.

Sodatide capsules ingredients are easy to list and harder to judge. Most pages show the three actives and stop. If you avoid an ingredient for health, belief or taste, the second list matters as much as the first.
This page reads both lists in five steps, then shows what the label does not say. It is built on the printed label, the sales page and the pages of this retailer. We do not repeat badge claims as if they were label facts.
Check 1: What are the active Sodatide capsules ingredients?
The Supplement Facts box lists a serving size of 1 capsule and 30 servings per container. Per capsule it shows three actives.
- Chicory root inulin (Cichorium intybus, root): 211 mg.
- Potato resistant starch (tuber): 100 mg.
- Probiotic blend: 36 mg, made up of Bifidobacterium infantis, Clostridium butyricum and Akkermansia muciniphila.
A dagger note says "Daily Value Not Established." The blend gives one weight for all three bacteria. It prints no live count, no strain codes and no note on whether the Akkermansia is live or pasteurized. In all, the actives add up to 347 mg, of which 311 mg is fiber.

Key facts
- Actives per capsule: 211 mg chicory root inulin, 100 mg potato resistant starch, 36 mg probiotic blend.
- Other ingredients: hypromellose (vegetarian capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and silica.
- The label says "vegetarian capsule." It makes no vegan, gluten-free or dairy-free claim.
- Badge images on the brand's artwork go further than the label. No allergen testing is published.
- No caffeine or stimulant herbs appear on the label.
- Origins of the ingredients are not published: the label says "globally sourced."
Check 2: What are the other Sodatide capsules ingredients?
The second list reads: "Hypromellose (vegetarian capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica." They are listed after the actives, and the label gives no amount for any of them.
The label calls the hypromellose a vegetarian capsule, which tells you about the shell. It does not explain what the other three do, and it does not say where any of them come from. We give no percentages, because none are published. If a helper ingredient matters for your health, ask the seller for the exact source in writing before you buy.

Check 3: Is a vegetarian capsule the same as vegan?
No. The label says the shell is a vegetarian capsule. That tells you about the shell. It does not tell you how the three bacteria were grown, and the label does not say. It does not carry a vegan claim, and we will not add one for it.
For many people, a plant-based shell and no animal-derived actives on the list is enough. If you follow a strict vegan or religious diet, the question to put to the seller is simple: what were the cultures grown on, and can you confirm it in writing? Until an answer comes, treat it as not published.
Check 4: Do the badges match the Sodatide capsules ingredients list?
The brand's artwork shows badges for gluten free, GMO free and made in the USA, among others. The label itself does not carry a gluten-free, dairy-free or GMO-free statement. It says "Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients," and "vegetarian capsule."
That gap matters. No allergen testing is published, and no certificate of analysis is attached to the seller's reference code SOD-2930-26-SO. A badge on an image is not the same as a line on the label or a lab result. If you have a serious allergy, do not rely on a badge. Ask first, in writing, and bring the answer to your doctor.
| Claim | On the label? | Backed by published testing? |
|---|---|---|
| Vegetarian capsule | Yes | Not applicable |
| Vegan | No | Not published |
| Gluten free | No (badge image only) | Not published |
| Dairy free | No (badge image only) | Not published |
| GMO free | No (badge image only) | Not published |
| Caffeine or stimulants | None listed | Not applicable |
Check 5: How do the Sodatide capsules ingredients fit your gut and your medicines?
Fiber and bacteria both act in the colon, so any change can show as wind or a fuller belly. One capsule holds 311 mg of fiber, and studies of inulin used 5 to 10 g a day. Gas first, then bloating, is the effect most linked to inulin (Bonnema 2010). Inulin is also a fructan, and fructans can bother some people with IBS, even at small amounts.
For medicines, no interaction study of Sodatide exists. Ask your doctor or pharmacist first if you take blood-sugar medicine, immune-suppressing drugs or antibiotics. Live bacteria carry a rare risk of serious infection in very ill or immunocompromised people (NCCIH, Probiotics). The label asks pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and people with a known medical condition to consult a physician first.
What should you ask the seller about the ingredients?
Keep the questions short and ask for the answers in writing. Use the order desk, +1 (302) 200-3480, or the sales email, and quote your order ID.
- Which strains are in the blend, with codes, and are they live or pasteurized?
- What is the live count per capsule at the end of shelf life?
- What were the cultures grown on, if I follow a vegan diet?
- Is there allergen testing for gluten and dairy, and where is the report?
- Can I have the certificate of analysis for my lot?
None of these is answered in the public material today. Our page on what the label leaves blank shows the same gaps in more detail.
Who should ask a doctor about the ingredients first?
Ingredient lists do not replace medical advice. Talk to a physician before using Sodatide if you are pregnant, nursing, under 18 or living with a medical condition. People with IBS, diabetes, a weak immune system or recent bowel surgery should ask too. Sodatide is a dietary supplement, so it is not FDA approved.

Our view
Our view
Sodatide capsules ingredients are short and readable: three actives, four helpers and a vegetarian shell. That is a fair strength. The weak points are the missing numbers: no live count, no strain codes, no ingredient origins and no allergen testing behind the badge images.
If your diet is simple and your health is steady, the list may suit you. If you need a firm yes on gluten, dairy or vegan, ask first and keep the reply. See the ingredients page for each active in turn, and ask your doctor if you take medicine.
