Soda Tide Capsules: 6 Checks to Run the Day the Box Arrives
Soda tide capsules should arrive sealed, 30 to a bottle, with a label that matches the published Supplement Facts. The label says not to use a bottle with a damaged or missing seal. Six checks on the day the box arrives cover the seal, label, count, look, smell and storage.

Soda tide capsules are a live-culture product, and that changes how you should treat the box when it lands. A bottle that sat in heat can look fine and still not be what the label hopes for. A few minutes on day one can save you a lot of doubt later.
Here are six checks in the order you would do them, with what the label and this retailer's pages say. Where a fact is not published, such as a capsule photo or a lot number, we say so.
Check 1: Is the safety seal on your soda tide capsules unbroken?
Look before you open. The label says: "Do not use if safety seal is damaged or missing." If a seal is broken, do not take capsules from that bottle. Keep it closed, take a photo of the box and the bottle, and call the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 with your order ID.
Do this for every bottle in the box, not just the first one. A damaged bottle is a shipping problem first, so describe what you see and ask whether the desk wants photos or the bottle back.

Key facts
- Each bottle should be sealed. The label says not to use one with a damaged or missing seal.
- A bottle holds 30 capsules, one a day, for 30 days.
- The label reads Sodatide, with Supplement Facts: 211 mg inulin, 100 mg resistant starch, 36 mg probiotic blend.
- The label asks you to keep the product away from heat, light and humidity, and to refrigerate for optimal quality.
- A photo of a single capsule is not published, so color and size are unknown.
- No lot number or best-before date is visible in any product image: look for one on your bottle.
Check 2: Does the label match the published soda tide capsules facts?
A genuine label should match the flat label image line for line. Use this quick list with the bottle in your hand.
- Front: Sodatide, Metabolic and Digestive Support, 30 capsules, 30-day supply.
- Serving size 1 capsule, 30 servings per container.
- Chicory root inulin 211 mg, potato resistant starch 100 mg, probiotic blend 36 mg.
- Three strains: B. infantis, C. butyricum and A. muciniphila.
- Distributed by Instituto Experience, Lakeland FL 33804.
- Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients.
Different amounts, a different strain list or a missing distributor line is worth a call before you take anything. Bottle color alone is not a warning sign, and our page on the black and white bottle question explains why. Every printed word is on the Supplement Facts page.

Check 3: Are there 30 capsules in each bottle?
The label promises 30 capsules. Count them over a clean plate if you like, or count one bottle and trust the rest. A few fewer is a fair question for the desk. Write down the count with the date.
While you have the bottle open, note any code on it. Look at the bottom and at the edges of the label for a lot number or a best-before date. No product photo shows one, so we cannot tell you where it sits. The seller's lot reference, SOD-26/SO-2930, is a seller reference, not a printed bottle code. Keep three things together: the order email, a photo of the label and any lot code you find.
Check 4: Do the capsules look dry and whole?
The brand publishes no photo of a single capsule, so color and size are not known. What you can check is condition. Capsules should be dry and whole. Clumped, sticky or cracked capsules suggest that heat or moisture got in.
Moisture is the enemy of live cultures, which is why the label asks for a cool, dry place. If the capsules are stuck together, stop and call before taking any. Take a photo, keep the bottle closed and quote your order ID.
Check 5: Is there any odd smell from the bottle?
A strong sour or musty smell is not normal for a sealed, dry product. If the smell seems wrong, close the bottle and call.
Do not taste or test a capsule you doubt. A bottle that arrives damaged is a shipping issue. A bottle that looks fine but feels wrong to use falls under the money-back window, per the sales page, with its conditions. Ask the desk which one applies, and whether they want the bottle back.
Check 6: Where should you store your capsules?
The label gives two storage lines. One says "refrigerate for optimal quality." The caution says to keep it away from heat, light and humidity and to store it in a cool, dry place. A closed bottle kept in the fridge covers both. Keep the lid tight so fridge humidity stays out, and keep it away from the stove, a sunny window or a steamy bathroom.
If the box sat in the sun on a porch, nobody can say for sure whether it was harmed, because the label prints no live count to test against. Bring the box inside, put the bottles in the fridge and note the date in case you raise it with the desk. For travel, carry only the capsules you need in a small closed container, out of the sun and out of a hot car.

Who should check with a doctor before the first capsule?
Pregnant or nursing mothers, adults and children under 18 with a known medical condition, and anyone on blood-sugar medicine should ask a physician before the first capsule. So should people with a weak immune system, IBS or recent bowel surgery, since very ill people face a rare risk from live bacteria (NCCIH, Probiotics). As a dietary supplement, Sodatide has no FDA approval.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How many soda tide capsules are in a bottle?
Thirty. At one capsule a day that is a 30-day supply. A 2-bottle pack holds 60 capsules.
What should I do if the seal on my soda tide capsules is broken?
Do not use that bottle. The label says not to use the product if the safety seal is damaged or missing. Take a photo and call the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 with your order ID.
What do soda tide capsules look like?
The brand publishes no photo of a single capsule, so color and size are not known. The shell is made of hypromellose, and the label describes it as a vegetarian capsule.
Do soda tide capsules need to be refrigerated?
The label says "refrigerate for optimal quality" and also asks for a cool, dry place away from heat, light and humidity. A closed bottle on a fridge shelf meets both.
Is there a lot number or expiry date on the bottle?
Not visible in any product image we hold. Look on your bottle, note what you find and ask the order desk for the date on your lot if there is none.
What if my soda tide capsules are stuck together?
Stop and call before taking any. Clumped or sticky capsules usually mean heat or moisture reached the bottle. Take a photo, keep it closed and quote your order ID.
Our view
Our view
Soda tide capsules deserve a short, calm check on day one. The seal, the label, the count, the look, the smell and the shelf take a few minutes, and they tell you whether the bottle matches what the label promises. They cannot tell you the live count, because that is not published.
Keep your notes with the order email, store the bottles cool and call early if anything seems off. The 60-day window per the sales page works best when you raise a problem in the first days, not the last ones. Talk to your doctor first if you take any medicine.

Check the box, then keep the receiptsOrder from the official page so the desk can find your order, and keep the 60-day window in mind.
